Why? (Ok, this is just my fair and unbiased opinion…)
Yoh-gurt Froz’s pilot product was the Yoh-gurt Froz Original which was not properly introduced to the market. They tried to sell Yoh-gurt Froz Original as a frozen dessert which tastes closely like ice cream minus the guilt. Having Yoh-gurt Froz market frozen yogurt as an ice cream substitute made them unsuccessful. Even if it’s 100% non-fat, low in calories, and contains no table sugar, the market for ice cream is already saturated… people are starting to look for new flavors to satisfy their taste buds. Most of us, Pinoys, don’t really care about reading the labels – if it’s non-fat or low calorie – and if the ingredients will benefit our health or not, as long as it tastes the same, it is the same product!
Yoh-gurt Froz, of course, took advantage of the new and revived frozen yogurt’s growing demand. They recently introduced their line of soft-served froyo which they call the Classic Fro-Yo. Topped with fresh fruits or dry toppings, a truly smooth and creamy treat you can’t get enough of!
I must say that K and I were most impressed of Yoh-gurt Froz’s Classic Fro-Yo; it is now our top bet among all the froyo’s that we’ve tried so far. It is not airy and does not melt quickly (unlike other froyo’s that we’ve tried). The blend of sweetness and tanginess is just right. The yogurt itself is so good that you don’t need to top it with anything else!
K and I also tried the Yoh-gurt Froz Original in mango and strawberry combo. It’s not what we expected it to be – it did not have a trace of yogurt in it, it tasted purely like mango strawberry ice cream – very true to what they claim it should be. Yoh-gurt Froz Original is not really that bad if you’re just looking for a frozen treat but if you’re looking for real yogurt, it is best to have their Classic Fro-Yo.
Do your health a flavor, have a Classic Fro-Yo at Yoh-gurt Froz now!
